Bench model #5 In our desire to serve sumptious men in the dining table, once in a while, we have to give you Mancentral Specials. And for our first salvo, we will give you the BENCH brief fashion show which was made as an added attraction to the finals of Be Bench which was later aired at ABSCBN last week. And since it involve pageant winners as well as fashion, ramp and commercial models, it was an event we can't just ignore.
For 18 years now, Bench has revolutionized the fashion industry. It's dream of creating a Philippine fashion brand that would cater and appeal to teenagers and the younger crowd was a staggering success. Kudos goes to Ben Chan, the head honcho of Bench. With Be Bench finals, and also the fashion show, theres nothing that we could say but Bench is outdoing nobody except himself. The previous year Bench had concocted Bench Fever which was staged at the mammoth Araneta Coliseum, and the huge turnout dwarfed the size of the venue. Another project One Night Only who utilized hundreds if not thousands of who's who in the fashion scene made another giant leap, and no less than big names in the movie industry volunteered themselves just to be a part of the project. This year with Carlo Guevarra, Ron Morales, and John Uy heading the extravaganza, theres nothing that we can ask for. Pageant winners like Jon Mullaly (CTSB winner), and Bruce Quebral (Manhunt Philippines winner) joined the league. Moviestars like Rafael Rossel and Jake Cuenca and ramp models like Doug Kramer and Andrew Wolfe lend support as they show their wares and their bulges or the lack of it.  Photo Credits: Vince Lopez Photography
