Be Bench Model Search per se is not a beauty search for men and women. But its scope, preparation, sponsor's support and fan adulation can equal if not surpass any local male beauty and personality search. Created and concocted by Bench head honcho Ben Chan, it has its goal of infusing new blood in its veteran's list of Bench models: Richard Gomez, John Estrada, Wendell Ramos and Antonio Aquitania. On his part, Bebench winner, Carlo Guevarra, 18 years old from Pasay City may look sickly and anemic to his detractors, but he made a Herculean task when he turned the tables down , under the very nose of more buffed Ron Morales and John Uy. On his plus side, he got the public support , he is very charming, and he typifies and represents the modern Filipino teenager. Ron and John did good, but Carlo has his magic. Pretty soon, Carlo will soon grace the billboards along EDSA and the whole country. Keep it up Carlo!
