Alessio Cuneo was Mr. Continente del Mundo Ecuador 2009. He was sent to compete at Mr. Continente del Mundo 2009 in Peru and was proclaimed the first runner up. He was 21 years old , 1.82 m in height and studies as an engineer at Universidad Del Pacifico de Guayaquil.
