Eric Salvador's grand entrance to Pageantopolis started when he won GF Baguio with buddy Froilan Ami in tow. Having his first trophy and his first sash is something he will cherish for the rest of his life. He stands 6 ft. tall and weighed 198 pounds. He was a gym nut and sports ruled his day. He played basketball., bowling and tennis.
After a very auspicious start winning local and national pageants left and right (GF Baguio and Mr. Young Philippines 1st runner up) Eric eyed for the bigtime when he joined Mr. World Philippines in 2000. He arm wrestled with Manila's finest( including a cousin of Alma Concepcion), but when the smoke was clear, there was only one winner and that's Eric Salvador. BB Pilipinas charities sent him to Scotland to compete for Mr. World 2000. It was giant leap for him and it paid off. Eric became a poster boy and a regular fixture in every BB Pilipinas affairs, and aside from modelling he sharpened his craft as a TV news anchor in a popular Tv station in Baguio. Eric loves to travel and has tried discovering every nook of the Philippines from Aparri to Jolo. He had visited major cities in the world including Scotland Hongkong and Japan.
