Reality shows are just sprouting like mushrooms and the two powerful TV stations in the country (ABS CBN and GMA7)   are outdoing each to come out with bright ideas on what to produce, what reality shows bring the dough, and what ticks with the fanatics. And what do you know? The competition is so fierce that whatever one station has; more often than not, the other station followed suit so they can have a "pantapat."

If ABS CBN has Star In A Million, GMA7 has Search for a Star.  ABS CBN has Dream Academy and GMA has Pinoy Pop Superstar, Fear Factor and Survivor Philippines, Star Circle Quest and Starstruck, Pilipinas Got Talent and Are You The Next Big Star, The Voice of The Philippines and Bet Ng Bayan,  ASAP and SOP, Showtime and Eat Bulaga, TV Patrol and 24 Oras, Al Dub and Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastillas, ad nauseam . 

At this time only the ABS CBN 's X Factor Philippines  and Pinoy Big Brother didn't have any GMA katapat. And with the release of GMA's To The Top winners, will ABS CBN answer the threat by making Pinoy BIG Brother: The Making of the Boy Band!  I can't wait.  The more ... the merrier!
