JR Valentin is 6 ft. and 3 inches and hails from the Queen City of the South - Cebu.. One of his mentor is Harley Ruedas who is a good friend of mine. Harly was one among the many who was instrumental in sending JR to Bodyshots 2000 where Cebu hits twin victories as JR as well as Paula Abinuman, scored to get the top honors. Fresh from winning the title Bodyshots, JR expands his repertoire as he swings and vacillates from ramp modelling to print. His pictures stand tall along the busy streets of Manila and the suburbs and in magazine he exude glamour with a capital G. Lately ... he dipped his foot in showbiz waters as he played the male lead in The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros. He did accept offers from Regal and Seiko, and as if it was not enough, he muddled himself in a tug of war between two rival networks ABS CBN and GMA where he accepted walk-on part roles to challengin roles. He appeared in Bridal Shower in 2002, The Lucky Ones in 2006, and soon in an indie movie Sinugaling Ang Buwan
