Ok guys ... I'll put you in the spot! We love our pageant candidates so dearly , especially the ones that we think deserves to win. We fought in their behalf ... and we answered critics in forums who gave below the belt comments about the way they walk ... and the way they look.

But time run so fast. And by the time you knew it ... the pageant idol that we put in the pedestal starts to grow grey hairs ... grow some mustache ... and the face that used to launch a thousand ships ... starts to grow wrinkles ... and of course there are unwanted fats somewhere.

Ganesh Venkatraman was one of the candidate in Gladrags Manhunt India 2003 and Model Of The World 2003. He captivated everyone with his winsome smile ... and in his prime his abs and pecs winks. His stage presence absorbs you ... and when he flash those smile the dark stage lit. Twelve years to be exact, did Ganesh maintain his magic ... or the ageing process starts to take its toll.

Ganesh Venkatraman is one of the more visible pageant kings in India. He was Gladrags Manhunt Winner in 2003. Possessing a smile that can turn you soft on your knees and a smile that emits rays of hope and joy, Ganesh is simply at the top of his peers. He was India's ambassador in the Best Model of The World in Turkey (he was one of the top five finalists) and the experience is something he will cherish for the rest of his life. His preparation for the contest required him to take a sabbatical of 8 months to which he gladly obliged. A lot of good memories happened in the contest, and even though he is a certified class A model ... he find time to reminish the all-so-good-times that filled his memory bank to the brim! Ganesh is 6 ft and 1 inch and is from Mumbai. He is a Gladrags Manhunt winner in 2003 and the winner of Best Hair award ... and from there there 's no stopping him. Ganesh had set his eyes in modelling and believed that being a winnner in Gladrags has given him the right platform to achieve his dreams. In 2004, he was India's representative to Best Model of the World contest held in Istanbul Turkey where he ranked among the top five, a very good finish making his countrymen proud. In the same contest he also won Best Smile. To which we say Amen.

Ganesh had worked for top designers in India and did fashion shows for NIFT, Provogue, Tuscan verve,, Levis, and Flying Machine. He also modelled for international brands such as Calvin Klein,, Cavalli, British Isle etc. He also did ads and commercials for Close Up, A-1 Vodka, and music videos for DJ Aqeel Jab Chayee Tera Jadoo. Indeed, Ganesh had conquered the best of several worlds in the modelling industry and all we can say is Keep It Up!
