The heavy Boracay rain spoiled the fun when Mossimo Bikini Open finals has to be postponed and was later moved to May 23, 2009 playdate to a still undisclosed location. And still another bad news came when two male candidates had to beg off and then throw in the towels when they finally cancelled their participation in the said contest. Edouard George has to leave because of his TV show Hole In The Wall has conflict with his practice schedules. Kenji Lopez Zabala has to leave for reasons he alone knows.
Still the heat is on ... as our ten hunks strut their wares in the rocks of Boracay and for sure they will rock our night away too on May 23, 2009. And as for the venue we will try to update you guys when everything is ironed out. Thanks to Eliseo Gonzaga for the photos.

Just like the shampoo commercial, the Men of Mossimo Bikini Open Summit 2009 deserves a second look. For how could you not when the list is the creme de la creme of the crop for any male contest this year. If only I have 12 trophies I will give the title to all of them no questions asked.

But this is a contest, so all we can do now is wait in bated breath who among these guys deserves to be called the best from what is already touted a golden harvest.
Dexter Quindoza has the cutest face, but he should have tried lifting weights already since his starstruck days if Mossimo is a part of his game plan. Harold Oide Ginoong Filipinas Turismo 2007 has a face value estimated on a higher euro decibels and he has packed muscles that could stop typhoon Emong from making a touch down!
Lem Pelayo of course lambasts his opponents from the sideline. He has a wider fan base and his experience as a model is something fashion connoisseurs could not ignore. Another model and Cosmopolitan power hunk is Marc Manicad and as the name says 'markang-marka' siya. Andre Endique, JR Tirona of Quezon melts our hearts away with their chinito charisma and once they flashed their smile ... you melt like marshmallows. The Sino-Korean fever I think is still endemic.
And the United Nations also send their able reps in the person of Jiro Shirakawa (a Japino), Angelo Cacciatore (an Italo-phil) and Edouard George a (Fil-brit). Other candidates like Geronimo Lontoc, Kevin John Zaldarriaga, and Kenjie Lopez Zavala provides good competetion to this bruising mano-a-mano fight to the finish for the coveted Mossimo Bikini Open Summit crown.

Where can you find the country's finest men with dreamy eyes and rippling muscles ... with sculpted abs and with bodies to die for? Only at Mossimo Bikini Open 2009!
Now on its last stretch of combing who's who in the undergarment firmament ... experience a show-off competetion like no other as a dozen or so men representing the Philippines Luz-vi-minda regions compete for the right to lord it over in Bora and won the right to flex muscles for Mossimo for a year!
And here's the best part to all pageant nuts! You can brush elbows with all these hunkies when the show starts at Fairways and Blue Water Resort in Bora on May 16. Imagine getting acquainted with top model and product endorser Lem Pelayo (#3) or Ginoong Filipinas Turismo 07 Harold Oide (#1) whose body is now built to perfection.
And how about feeling weak to your knees when Starstruck Avenger Dex Quindoza (#2)stares at you ... or Mark Manikad (#4) Be Bench Finalists and Cosmo 69 Power Hunk tease you to your kilig bones.
Other frontrunners who are just too gorgeous to be ignored are: Edourd George - Mr. Philippines International finalists, and crowd drawers Andre Endique(#7),Jiro Shirakawa (#5), Angelo Caciatorre (#8).
Indeed this is Battle Royale! And while the candidates battle it out on stage, what could be more than a roller-coaster ride when supporters will join the fracas by cheering and applauding their favorites?
