Micah Munoz: In Casual Wear

Micah Muñoz, a new face in the entertainment industry, was discovered by the Maricel Pangilinan, sister-in-law of Genesis Entertainment and management Inc. big boss, Angeli P. Valenciano.

It was easy for Micah to impress Angeli simply because he has a resemblance to Gabriel, one of the good-looking sons of Gary and Angeli.

Micah, who hails from Bacolod, invades Manila with a purpose— to study and simultaneously land a showbiz career. He is busy between his showbiz schedules and studies at San Beda College where he is third year in Marketing and Communication Technology. This curly haired guy stands at 5'8", has dusky complexion who loves acting and dancing that could give idol, Gary V a run for his money.

Micah's favorite sport is ultimate frisbee— Monday to Thursday in San Lorenzo, Saturday and Sunday find him at the Fort or Manila Polo Club. Sometimes, he goes to a driving range to hit a few balls, and of course, auditioning up to now in whatever search that may suit his talent.

Micah, whose name was taken from the Bible, means one who is like God. To date, he has done a number of TV commercials like for STI-TVC and billboards for Globe Telecoms, Chippy, Jolibee, Cadbury, Mitsubishi, Block and White. As an actor, he has wound up with a feature film, "Boyfriend Seat" for Carlo Ledesma.

Also, as an FYI, Micah Munoz is a San Bedan from Bacolod : written by Kahlan Nynaeve

Rodel Felicidario: Close Up To Fame

Who would blame those that ogled and stared at him since they are looking at someone with an infectious smile, a well-proportioned body to die for and those pearly white teeth that seems to sparkle like BIg Dipper in the sky. Rodel is a print and a commercial model and is ably managed by Mercator Model Management. After his meteoric rise in the world of modelling via his participation in Close Up To Fame where he tussle mano a mano with fellow models Reyson Yap, Kris Martinez and Kevin Dormitorio his major works as a model was when he was given print ads and TV commercials c/o Bank of Philippine Islands and Globe Telecxom. In 2006, a tough act to follow was when he was selected as one of the models in Bench Fever where only the cream of the crop survives. Assignments followed after via a Folded and Hung potboiler and later Cosmopolitan Magazine invited to be one of their 69 Most Eligible Bachelors.

Kris Martinez: Close Up To Fame

Photo # 1 (Thanks to Kris Martinez and his websites)Photo # 2Photo # 3Photo # 4Photo # 5Photo # 6For three decades now, Close Up had been instrumental in delivering impeccable bevy of "smiling" studs in television and what a collection they are. In the eightees who can forget Gabby Concepcion and his Close Up smile which made him a star overnight. Rudolph Yaptinchay followed in a heartbeat and his appearance drove fans to near frenzy. Then lately there's John Pratts, Rafael Rossel, TJ Trinidad and Sam Milby who melted everyones hearts just flashing those toothpaste smiles. The new milleneum is no different. Kris Martinez came out from his coccoon in Bulacan to be an important Close Up To Fame quester. He was everybody's bet but was edged out by unpopular winner Reyson Yap of Davao. Proof to Kris staying power is his ability to jump fromtwo giant television networks as he appears in one teleserye to another. Earlier, Kris also joined Maharlikang Pilipino and that was another heartbreaker for him, because he lost again to another unpopular winner from Canada. Kris had just wrapped up Super Inggofor ABS-CBN and his latest movie Twilight Dancers is enjoying SRO crowds here and abroad as it competed from one festival to another. Vince Saldana is a Filipino American balikbayan who just finished his secondary education at John F Kennedy High School when he stormed ABS CBN when he became first runner up to equally deserving Reb Sibal. Both were contracted by Viva Entertainment and after a year it looked like Vince was more visible in the entertainment scene than Reb. Another case of Leonardo Litton and Harold Pineda syndrome? Or Allen Dizon and Roger Salinas in GF 1996? Or Rico T and Jett Alcanatara in Mr. World Philippines mano-a-mano. Vince has appeared in Music videos, he is the guy in Rachel Ann Go's hit "I Care". He has a movie to his credit in Ang Cute Ng Ina Mo and adding more salt to the wound, he is very visible in Tv commercials, the latest is Rebisco's Bravo Biscuit.

Vince Saldana is Piolo Pascual's nephew. He grow up in Guam and was back in the Philippines to try his luck in show business. He joined the Close Up To Fame contest won by tall, dark and handsome Reb Sibal whose smile can get you close to ecstacy. Vince is second to him and too bad because if a tie to the title is only allowed in contest like this, then everybody will be happy. Both Reb and Vince are equally deserving and if both flashes their smile you will doubly be star struck by the two. Even the runnerups are impeccable notably Kevin Wymack whose dancing skills is a delight. Anyway Vince is now in the movies and telelvision. His first baptism in celluloid world is via Ai-ai de las Alas ang Ganda Ng Nanay Mo.
