Lando Sasso: Mr. Puerto Rico Teenager

Early in 2007 Misters of Puerto Rico gave birth to 4 young stallions ready to conquer the world. Each one of them has one mission. Go out and make Puerto Rico proud. Lando Sasso is one of these men . He is tall and lanky (his hair on his earlier photos doesn't suit him well, but the above photo where he sported a somewhat respectable and clean-shaven look added to his chances in the Mr. Yong Earth preliminaries. Other than that Lando possesses all necessary recipe to win international contest. Kudos shoud be given to the men and women behind these 4 men. They have developed them ... and we think they are now ripe now for the picking!

photo #7photo # 8photo # 9photo # 10Yesirrrrrreee, dear pageant fans, Andres Rosales of Venezuela won again the title Mr. Young International 2007. As I told you yesterday, when it rains for Venezuela ... it pours and it looks like it is never ending. Not that we are complaining because i am a true believer that Venezuela is really moving heaven and earth to make their representative competetive and trophy-worthy every year. And as a neutral observer under the indefatigable leadership of Julio rodriguez and Mr. Restrepo and the rest of their ilk, they see to it that they exhaust their efforts in combing Venezuela from Amazonas to Zulia to find title-worthy ambassadors to utter envy and disgust of the world. We can't blame these people... they jusut do their homework!

Admittedly, Venezuela winning pageants left and right starts to become a habit. Year in and year out, they sent the best ambassadors from their country to any contest . It makes other countries ask themselves this question "what else is new" as if everybody surrenders to the beauty factory that is ....Venezuela!

You see it is anybody's guess. In other words anybody can win. Whether you are small or tall, big or small, black or white, lanky or well built, handsome or not-so handsome, winning trophies and crowns depends on a lot of factors. It is anybody's ballgame and sometimes LUCK or even a perfect TIMING can work on your side. Luis Fernando Menegazzo is a perfect example. He is handsome no doubt about it, he has the talent everybody agrees with that, and his personality is awesome. But he is smaller as compared to the winner Andres Rosales of Venezuela who has all what it takes... a perfect embodiment of a pageant winner - beauty, height, personality, good physique ... and brains too. He is also lacking in muscles where Mr. Rosales have a plenty. But look where he is now! He is first runner up in Mr. Young International division, just a hairbreath or a stonethrow from the crown. Pheeeew! So, those of you who are reading this page who have the crown or the title written in their dreams, don't lose hope. Keep on trying. And keep on dreaming. Who knows with a good luck and a good timing, you could be the next Luis Fernando Menegazzo! Congratulations to you bro!
