Venus Raj ... the morning after clinching the fourth runner up spot in the 2010 edition of Miss Universe ... was deluged with offers both in modelling and television work. No other than the two television giants were fighting "mano a mano" on who can match and who can offer a job Venus can't ignore. For one Venus is a Mass Com graduate with a "cum laude attach to her cap.

And when ABS CBN offer her a hosting job in a morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" that was a stroke of genius, and Venus without batting an eyelash accepted the job. There were no haggling, no under the table deals ... ABS CBN just go with the jugular and cater to what Venus wants. Something close to her heart. And it worked.

Venus of course was given the chance too ... to do guest appearances in other variety and musical shows like Showtime, ASAP, and Happy, Yipi, Yehey ... and I know Venus being intellegent that she is ... is just making these shows as her stepping stones. 2011 means fresh underwear fashion and fresh faces at Bench. It can also mean a grand comeback of a model and an icon who added prestige, hue and timbre to its already successful Bench complexion. We are please to welcome Borgy Manotoc as the latest addition to Bench model roster.

Borgy Manotoc is magnifiscent in this black and white photography. Compared to colorful images where catchy colors help the model to standout ... in this black and white designs, Borgy's ability to stand-out depends in his ability to communicate rather than its appealing visual presentation. Indeed Borgy succeeds in this department.

Borgy didn't attract with its play of colors. And to appreciate his Bench images more ... please pay attention to composition, lighting, perspective, and the context the images were shot.

Bench is already successful in all their strategies and gimmicks and their use of who's who in the movie and the modelling firmament is working. And the work of their photographers and their creative juices ... all fuel down to a more successful ventures.
